Overview

Learn how to get started in Unreal Engine with an overview of Virtual Production inside Unreal Engine 5.3 followed by practical exercises in creating background environments for live filming. The course will introduce participants to systems inside Unreal Engine that make up the environments we want to film in. Participants will work collaboratively on their own scene environments utilizing tools introduced throughout the workshop. Finally, they will have thirty minutes to finalize any details and take a short test footage in their environment.

The course is open to all participants, but spaces are limited and registration is required. A course fee of 500kr is required for participants above the age of 30 living in Tromsø. For participants living outside of Tromsø but live in North Norway, a course fee of 800kr includes flights and accommodation. Lunch and light refreshments will be served during the course of the workshop.
